'We have been negotiating with the AA for sometime, and are delighted to have secured this prestigious national account,' says Steve. 'They were also keen to develop a relationship with ChipsAway to benefit their members, and to be associated with the leading world player in the SMART repair sector.'
The AA will promote ChipsAway cosmetic repair services on its website, which receives over 70,000 hits a day. In addition, direct marketing material will be sent out to all members - 4.3 million households - and ChipsAway will be featured in the 350,000 Renewal Packs dispatched every month. Accordingly, ChipsAway expects significant volumes of work for its franchise network to result from such widespread exposure, and has implemented a range of support mechanisms for franchisees to ensure that they are able to handle the influx.
Steve Bignell concludes: 'Demand for our services is already very high. Our franchisees operate in a massive marketplace, with around 10 million repair opportunities every year. New business likely to flow from our agreement with the AA means that we are more committed than ever before to the continued support of our existing franchisees, as well as to the aggressive expansion of our network.'
