The fifth Allkare franchise owner to be recruited this year, Richard Barrett, is based in East Riding and will cover Hull, York and the surrounding areas.

Barrett previously ran his own building company for 10 years, but decided that he wanted to own a business in the insurance building repair market. When Barrett came across Allkare he felt that this was the perfect opportunity to achieve this aim. He said: “I am really excited to acquire the East Riding area and look forward to getting started in this great opportunity.

“The staff from head office have been great, and have given me invaluable help and advice in setting up the new business, and are always available to answer any questions while I am finding my feet.
