Navin Manekporia was approached by the producers of 'How Not To Decorate' when they realised they needed the conservatory blinds for the TV makeover programme.

They approached Navin to see if there was any way he could turn around the manufacture of the blinds, which normally take a minimum of four weeks, in just three days.

The programme's producers were worried that they would not complete the makeover of a two-bedroom house in High Wycombe in time if they couldn't get the blinds for the conservatory. Navin pulled out all the stops and called in the help of the conservatory blind making team at Apollo Blinds head office in Yorkshire.

'It was a real rush job,' said Navin. 'We weren't able to get into the house until the Tuesday afternoon and we had to then get measured up, order the blinds, then get them delivered and fitted by the Friday evening.

'All our window blinds are handmade to specific requirements by the craftsmen in our Yorkshire head office and they had to put in some serious overtime to turn around the blinds so quickly. But they did us proud and I was able to arrange to get our fitters over to High Wycombe to put them up.'
