Hotel'kiosk franchise Ask AMI has set an ambitious expansion target for 2009, with the aim of boosting its portfolio to over 100 sites this year. Currently over 60 hotels in the UK have accepted Ask AMI's touch screen concierge kiosk, and the company is seeking to recruit franchisees to drive this growth.

The company has also established operations in Cyprus and Portugal, and is reporting a recent influx of new and prominent brand name advertisers including Versace, Hugo Boss, Rainforest Café and Guess.

'2009 is an exciting time for us, and we have a recession proof business,' says Managing Director Philip Smith-Lawrence. 'As the credit crunch bites, restaurants, bars, clubs and most businesses in general all see a reduction in customers and they have to find new ways of advertising and marketing; our eye catching and prominent kiosks in major hotels provide the ideal solution with a captive audience genuinely wanting to use the service. We are looking for bright new franchisees who have some form of sales or management experience to operate either in the UK or abroad and expand our success across the globe.'
