Auditel enjoys a successful year of franchise recruitment
Auditel has enjoyed a successful franchise recruitment campaign this year, which has taken its network of franchise owners to over 200.
Among its latest intake of franchise owners was Paul Foster who lives in Milton Keynes with his wife and two children. Foster had over 25 years of experience in supply chain management and business communications. He said: “My consultancy work was based on significant experience of designing and delivering document solutions for major corporate accounts. I have worked with some of the UK’s leading companies such as Barclays, HSBC and Sainsburys, with experience of managing relationships at all levels up to board level.” Foster sums up his simple rationale for selecting Auditel: “The brand, a proven proposition and the people.”
Edward Brewer, Auditel’s Franchise Development Director, said: “This was a fantastic group of people who conducted due diligence into the white-collar franchise marketplace before deciding to choose Auditel. We were delighted to train these new affiliates from a wide range of backgrounds – all of who bring a wealth of experience and talents to our network. We especially welcome the wife of a long-standing franchise owner who will be joining her husband in the family business.”
Following last year’s nomination in the bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award, Auditel was selected as finalists, together with only five other franchisors, to win the HSBC Franchisee Support Award for 2011. This award, which is managed by the British Franchise Association (bfa), is given to the franchisor who stands out as providing exceptional support to their franchise owners, to give them the best possible environment for success. Franchising is becoming an increasingly attractive option for those looking to run a business for the first time. The latest NatWest/bfa survey reveals that nine out of 10 franchise owners remain profitable. As Brian Smart, Director General of the British Franchise Association said recently: “Yet again, franchising has demonstrated its inherent tenacity and stability, despite a tough climate last year.”
Laurence Knott added: “Applicants recognise the value of our cost and purchase management service in these challenging economic times. Our higher earners enjoy an income of over £200,000. Now is the time for any management professional who is seeking a career change to approach us. Our Free Discovery Seminars give an indication of what may be achieved within our franchise, which can provide financial, business and personal satisfaction.”
