For cost management franchise Auditel, 2011 has gotten off to a great start. The company has reported it has achieved a bumper intake of franchise owners in January.
The Auditel team of consultants now stands at over 200, with many franchise owners renewing their agreements after five and 10 years.
Auditel’s Head of Marketing Laurence Knott said: “New franchise owners are attracted by our award-winning robust and proven business system, which puts them in control of their future. In fact, our higher earners now enjoy an income of over £200,000. Our parallel success in the marketplace is reflected in the growth in turnover by over 150 per cent since 2007, and our number of clients now exceeds 3,200 and includes many household names.”
According to Auditel there is a growing trend for established businesses in its network to recruit additional staff – sometimes family. In the new intake, Rhys Brennan, a recent university graduate, is joining his father’s South Wales practice. He said: “My dad is already a consultant. Having worked with him for six months, I saw a massive opportunity to be running my own business at the age of 23. I had met many of the head office team and felt comfortable and engaged in their company. It wasn’t a difficult choice.”
Another of the new franchise owners is Simon Eggleton who lives in Buckinghamshire, with his wife and three children. Eggleton was Head of Information Solutions for a major communications network that worked closely with the public safely organisations. He said: “I conducted due diligence into many franchises and stand-alone businesses. Auditel remained my benchmark against which I compared the others. In the final analysis, they offered a business opportunity that would leverage my skills, provide me with flexibility and deliver the sort of returns I aim to get from my new business.”
As part of its franchise package, Auditel offers a wide-ranging training and support programme. The programme includes advice on setting up a business, technical know-how, marketing and sales techniques, and unlimited access to their coaches, trainers and mentors.
