Auntie Anne's Pretzels, a USA-based franchise that sells a variety of pretzels, has opened its first outlet in Mexico. Snacks and Pretzels Mexico SA de CV has been granted the Master Franchise rights to expand Auntie Anne's Pretzels throughout Mexico. The first location was opened by the company earlier this month and is the 200th international Auntie Anne's Pretzels outlet to have opened.

Auntie Anne's Pretzels now operates in 20 countries around the world. During 2009 the company aims to open 52 international franchise outlets and 42 franchised locations in the USA.
