Autosheen franchise owners have sailed into previously unchartered waters with a new valeting service for boats, yachts and other waterborne craft.

Rob Stobbs, Chris Schilds, Steven Hendry and new franchise owner Nick Charles are the first Autosheen franchise owners to extend their skills by qualifying as fully trained ‘marine valeters’, accredited by the independent industry body, Institute of Motoring Industry Awards.

According to Autosheen Managing Director Paul Fennell, the marine marketplace is a substantial, virtually untapped marketplace with no real competition.

“There are over half a million boats in the UK, all of which need cleaning and maintenance,” said Fennell. “We have unique access to Farécla’s market leading product range, which has been developed especially for this sector and is used all over the world.This is a boost to Autosheen’s reputation and represents an important new income stream for franchise owners.”
