Autosmart International has won the HSBC Franchisee Support Award in recognition for the support it provides its franchise owners.
This is the fourth top award from the British Franchise Association (bfa) that the manufacturer of vehicle cleaning products has won in the last six years.
Sophie Atkinson, Managing Director of Autosmart International, said: “This is really prestigious award and winning it is a huge compliment to our commitment to every franchise owner. We’re motivated by helping franchise owners to build their own successful and profitable businesses. I am thrilled that our franchise owner support has been singled out as the best by some of the UK’s leading authorities in franchising.
“We’ve been franchising for over 30 years now and we know that excellent franchise owner support from day one really makes the difference. Every new franchise owner is allocated his own local business coach to work with him in the field, helping him improve his sales and product knowledge. In the first six months his coach will be with him for around one in every four days. This intensity of support ensures that every franchise owner has the best possible start, while building a stable and profitable future for himself and his family.
“It is really important to us that this help is there when franchise owners need it. We think that this is all part of being a responsible franchisor and is the reason why we have invested so heavily in our coaching team.”
Commenting on the win, Cathryn Hayes, Head of Franchising at HSBC, said: “Providing strategic support to franchise owners is critical to being a good franchisor. As ever, judging the finalists was difficult but Autosmart demonstrated a level of commitment to their franchise owners that really impressed us. They are a great example of how being innovative and not afraid to take risks to support franchise owners can pay off.”
