A minimum of 50 Baskin-Robbins ice cream stores are set to open in Mexico as part of a new Master Franchise deal.

The agreement, which Baskin-Robbins made with BRICE, will see 25 new branded locations opening in Mexico this year, with the further 25 due to launch over the next several years.

Another aspect of the deal will see BRICE also sub-franchising the Baskin-Robbins brand in Mexico.

Giorgio Minardi, President of Dunkin’ Brands International, which owns the Baskin-Robbins brand, said: “Baskin-Robbins takes pride in delighting guests the world over with its rich library of ice cream flavours and wide array of frozen treats. We are thrilled to be working with BRICE, a company with a proven track record in the quick service restaurant industry, on our expansion in Mexico. We look forward to supporting them as they grow the Baskin-Robbins brand throughout the country.”

Eduardo Diaz, Chairman of BRICE, said: “Baskin-Robbins is one of the world’s most respected ice cream brands. We are proud to represent Baskin-Robbins in Mexico as we look to expand its presence throughout the country. We look forward to becoming a top destination in Mexico for friends and family to enjoy world class frozen treats.”
