A new Belvoir Head of Franchising Support has been appointed to assist the letting agency's franchise owners and manage the business' ongoing expansion. Belvoir Managing Director Dorian Gonsalves has promoted team member Ian Maclean to the role of Head of Franchising Support.

Commenting on his promotion, Maclean said: "I am absolutely delighted as I love my job and enjoy working with franchise owners and am always proud when their business becomes a success."

Since joining Belvoir's central office in Grantham, Lincolnshire in 2007, Maclean has seen the company develop into a national success.

"I started with Belvoir as a business mentor, working with new franchise owners during their first six months of trading but Belvoir expanded so rapidly that it soon became necessary to recruit additional support staff."

Gonsalves said: "I am delighted that Ian has accepted the position of Head of Franchise Support. Belvoir currently has over 140 offices nationwide and providing a high standard of ongoing franchise support and business development is of vital importance to the success of Belvoir. This is reflected in our decision to invest in the franchise support team."
