Proud to Franchise, the bfa's branded initiative to give both franchisees and franchisors a platform to highlight the benefits of buying goods and services from a franchise, has been re-launched with an updated look. Members of the bfa will be able to use the logo (pictured) to gain from the promotion being driven by this brand and help support them as franchise owners. From branding on vehicles and shop windows to websites and stationery, the bfa will look to provide every opportunity for members to gain from the activity surrounding this brand.

'The new Proud to Franchise logo deliberately carries a number of the characteristics of the old brand, maintaining recognition with the work already done,' says the association. 'However, the new brand is applicable to a wider variety of audiences and is, therefore, able to be more widely utilised across the bfa membership.

The updated brand will now be promoted in new bfa marketing initiatives and press activity aimed at the consumer market. With a new website in the first half of 2009 and focused work from the bfa's press department, it is expected to raise the profile of franchise businesses to potential customers, outside of the franchise community.
