Double redundancy led to two brothers going into business together as PVC Wizard franchise owners.
After both Tony and Gerard Moran were made redundant from their jobs at the PVCu company Halo, the brothers decided to join PVC Wizard and have now launched their Birmingham-based franchise, which provides conservatory and PVC cleaning to homeowners in their area.
Tony Moran said: “The idea of hand cleaning conservatories seems so simple and obvious but homeowners don’t realise how dirty they get and in reality how impractical and dangerous it can be to do a proper job yourself without the right equipment. PVC Wizard has developed a fantastic eye-catching brand and strong business model and I’m very confident that the future is bright and that I’ll be bringing weather-beaten conservatories and tired looking roofline back to their original pristine condition for many years to come.”
Gerard Moran added: “Being made redundant was a huge shock to the system, however, we were determined to get straight back into work. We looked into franchising and without experience within the industry immediately saw the potential in PVC Wizard. We have undergone an extensive training and learning process covering everything from customer service to the use of the specialist tools and cleaning products and are confident in our ability to meet our customers’ expectations.”
John Feeney, Managing Director of PVC Wizard, said: “We are delighted to have Tony and Gerard onboard, they are terrific guys and great to work with. They are committed to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction and an unrivalled specialist professional cleaning service. Now, having Tony and Gerard taking the specialist conservatory and PVC cleaning services into the Birmingham area, we have the ability to provide the same quality and professional service to homeowners all around Sutton Coldfield.
“Conservatories and PVC are an expensive investment and do require occasional cleaning to restore and maintain that pristine new look. Tony and Gerard have undergone an extensive training programme to ensure that they carry out all types of cleans safely and effectively and I will be working closely with the guys over the coming months.”
