Following the success of BurgerFuel’s flagship restaurant in Dubai, the company is set to open two new locations in the region.

BurgerFuel Worldwide Limited (BFW), a New Zealand-based company that owns the gourmet burger restaurant chain, has partnered with Al Khayyat Investments to open the two new locations in Dubai Mall and Mirdif City Centre.

In a franchise deal with Al Khayyat Investments, 15 BurgerFuel outlets are set to open in the UAE over the next five years. Chris Mason, Managing Director of International Markets for BurgerFuel Worldwide, said: “We are delighted to reveal our plans to open two new outlets in Dubai Mall and Mirdif City Centre. Visitors to both malls will soon get to experience BurgerFuel’s unique brand and high quality gourmet burger range. The two new stores will employ up to 32 people once fully operational.”

Farah George Farah, Head of F&B at Al Khayyat Investments, said: “When we partnered with BurgerFuel Worldwide to launch the JBR flagship outlet, we were determined to roll out more stores in the UAE because Al Khayyat is convinced the brand really fits the cosmopolitan taste of people living in the UAE and further reflects where we believe consumer habits are moving. We feel customers want a real burger with real ingredients, and BurgerFuel delivers on this with their continued focus on whole food and organic ingredients, many vegetarian society approved options, low fat sides for a healthier take on that favourite burger experience.”

BurgerFuel prides itself on using quality ingredients in all its food products, and according to the company, it ensures it maintains high standards by exporting all of its grass feed beef, which is 100 per cent halal certified, from New Zealand to the UAE.

Mason said: “We feel we have set a new standard in gourmet burgers in the UAE. We have had an incredibly positive response from customers since opening BurgerFuel in Dubai and we are confident of increasing the demand for our burgers as many locals seek out a more natural, wholesome and healthier product than has been traditionally offered in this market. We also see growing tourists numbers coming to Dubai not only seasonally but all year round adding to the many reasons we are very upbeat and confident about the BurgerFuel business in the UAE.”
