With franchises already successfully established in the UK and USA, Australian-based mobile coffee franchise Cafe2U is planning to launch its brand in New Zealand this year.
Cafe2U Chairman Andy Simpkin said: “We have always had significant interest from New Zealand in the past however we resisted the temptation to move too quickly, preferring to concentrate on building our brand awareness here in Australia first.”
Now that Cafe2U feels it is able to establish successful franchises in all parts of New Zealand, it is planning to launch a three-month proof of concept location. The company’s initial research into the New Zealand market has indicated that it will support over 40 individual franchise locations.
