The contract, which will see technicians from the firm who have MOD and Home Office clearance to systematically test approximately 30,000 electrical appliances spread across each of the royal residences in London, is the latest in a line of high profile jobs.

With other names on Calbarrie's client list including the Bank of England, the BBC and the Metropolitan Police, it is clear why the firm's credentials impressed the selection team for the royal households contract.

Ian Panter, Development Director at Calbarrie, comments: 'The fact that we have been an approved supplier to the Ministry of Defence and the Metropolitan Police for a number of years means that we are well equipped to take on such a high profile job, as does our commitment to quality.'

This commitment to quality has recently earned Calbarrie another important accolade as the firm has recently had its application accepted to become a member of the Electrical Contractor's Association (ECA), a national trade organisation which provides a focus for the electrical industry in terms of safety, training, qualification, technological development and performance.
