Pizza restaurant chain California Pizza Kitchen has signed a Master Franchise deal that will see the company expand into Taiwan.

The US-based company has partnered with Quanta Foods, which will open a minimum of six new restaurants in Taiwan over the next five years.

Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax, co-founders and co-CEOs of California Pizza Kitchen, said: “We are proud to be a global brand and whenever we are able to introduce our innovative menu into a new country, it is an opportunity we pursue. Quanta Foods has a great success record in Taiwan and we are pleased to partner with them on this venture.”
