WHSmith Travel’s motorway service outlets throughout the UK and Northern Ireland will now feature Card Connection’s range of greeting cards.
A new contract between the two companies means that Card Connection’s network of 79 franchise owners will deliver and merchandise its range of greeting cards to 137 WHSmith Travel sites.
“WHSmith Travel sells a tailored range of newspapers, magazines, books and impulse products for people on the move, which makes its stores the perfect outlet for our extensive greeting card range,” said Andrew Cutler, Sales and Franchise Director of Card Connection. “We are delighted to have been chosen to service such a prestigious brand and believe it is a testament to the popularity of our designs and our award winning franchise owner merchandising service.”
Card Connection’s network of franchise owners hand pick and deliver greeting cards from a range of 1,500 designs including Santé, humour, handmade and special occasions cards. The franchise owners also merchandise stock to ensure seasonal product is always up-to-date and displays look fresh and appealing to consumers.
As well as many independent stores, Card Connection franchise owners also supply other key national accounts including BP, Costcutter, Londis, Netto, Budgens, Spar and Haldanes.
