By taking advantage of social media like facebook and twitter, Card Connection has been able to further promote its greeting card franchises.
Card Connection Sales and Franchise Director Andrew Cutler said: “Social media is a fast growing way to communicate. In the past year we have set up our own Card Connection facebook page and twitter feed. In the last quarter we have seen hits to our own website from these sites increase by 40 per cent and we anticipate traffic from these sources will continue to grow as we gain more followers and consumers become more familiar with the social media phenomenon.
“We use social media to help communicate news about the company, link to articles we have written, advertise new product launches and even mention new franchise owners joining our network. It’s fun, free and a great way to keep in-touch.”
