The Care Manager at Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) has been nominated in The Great British Care Awards for the category The Home Care Registered Managing Award.

Jackie Everidge, who is a finalist in the North East region of the British Care Awards, started in care as a Support Worker with another company in 2003 and subsequently promoted to Care Coordinator in 2006.

Everidge joined Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) in November 2009 as a Care Coordinator when the business was in the early stages of development, delivering only around 100 hours per week. After six months Everidge became Registered Care Manager and has now been in that post for 18 months. During this time the business has grown to around 1,500 hours per week, employing over 60 staff. Everidge has also achieved Level 4 Leadership in Management in Social Care during this time.

Everidge has demonstrated total commitment and has built a team who are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care possible. Last year Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) won Franchise Office of the year, which was in no small part due to Everidge’s contribution to the business.
