Care in the home franchise Caremark announced its Franchisee of the Year Award winner at its recent Annual Conference. Leeds franchise owner Farina Tayub was presented with the trophy having vastly exceeded the trading targets set within her first year.
'As with any new venture, in the first couple of weeks you do tend to take a little longer over jobs but then the confidence kicks in and you get quicker and quicker,' said Farina (pictured). 'To potential and new franchise owners I strongly recommend: be patient! If you are a perfectionist like me, the early days can be quite stressful! But you do get out what you put in - I delivered 100 per cent of my first year expectation within the first six months and expect to expand very soon if I continue to grow at this pace.
'The backup support is brilliant. I'm always on the phone to the head office Team in Pulborough. I call them whenever I have a problem and they're always happy to help. The Caremark management team have developed a successful concept that not only works for me and my staff, but in addition oozes credibility and integrity.
'As a Caremark franchisee I have been able to spend my time implementing systems that are already proven to be the best in the care industry. The results speak for themselves and I was more then delighted to be awarded Franchisee of the Year.'
