One of Caremark's new franchise owners, Rishi Dhot, will be providing care and support to individuals in the Reading and West Berkshire area.

Dhot attended a two week training course held by the support team in Pulborough, West Sussex which covered everything that a franchise owner needs to know to start and build their business. Members of the support team work alongside some external representatives to impart everything needed to prepare Caremark franchise owners to deliver the highest standards of care within their specific region.

"I am very grateful to the Caremark team for providing a highly structured and informative training course. I am now really looking forward to putting the theory in to practice.

"My immediate focus will be my Care Quality Commission registration, once this is achieved I aim to provide the highest quality care and support services to a broad spectrum of user groups. I have just recruited a very experienced care manager who has spent many years working with supported living and with users who have complex care and support needs. We are very excited to be providing an important service to the Reading and West Berkshire community," said Dhot.

Caremark operates a rigorous recruitment procedure including enhanced criminal record checks before providing full training to all staff. It carefully assesses clients' needs and matches the right care staff to each client, ensuring ongoing supervision and assessment that identifies the changing needs and wishes of each client.

Caremark (Reading and West Berkshire) is part of a franchise network of over 60 offices throughout the UK and Ireland, delivering care and support services to individuals within their homes and their local communities.
