Caremark International, a UK-based company that provides home care services, has expanded its franchise into Malta.

Caremark was brought to Malta through a joint venture between Caremark International, Forestals and the KDM Group.

At the opening ceremony Dr. Joe Cassar said: “I have consistently sought to fetch and support initiatives originating from the private sector which sought to complement the policies, plans and projects of the public healthcare system. I believe there is a place for all in our health system. The demand for this kind of service, that is, care service provision in the community, is one which is increasingly on the rise.”

Also attending the ceremony was Kevin Lewis, CEO of Caremark, who said how pleased he was to be able to work in partnership with the Maltese organisations, bringing this venture to Malta and was looking forward to seeing Caremark’s quality care service operating within their local community.

This collaboration between Caremark International and Maltese business professionals is the first of its kind to come to the country. Caremark (Malta) is now preparing to open its first office in San Gwann, which will be offering high quality care provision, support and companionship to people of all ages and needs, within their own homes and local communities.

The Maltese people, will benefit from a robust, professionally developed home care service, delivered by a company that has a reputation for excellence and years of experience in the UK home care industry.

Caremark (Malta) will be looking to create around 100 new jobs in the country.
