USA-based quick service restaurant chain Carl's Jr is set to expand into Vietnam. CKE Restaurants Inc., Carl's Jr parent company, has sold the Vietnam Master Franchise rights for Carl's Jr to The Mesa Group.
As part of the franchise agreement The Mesa Group is set to open 25 Carl's Jr. locations in Vietnam, with the first due to be launched in Ho Cho Minh City this April.
CKE Chief Executive, Andy Puzder, said: "Mesa's expertise and knowledge of the Vietnamese market, along with their extensive experience in supply chain management, distribution and real estate, make Mesa Group the perfect partner to bring Carl's Jr to Vietnam."
