One child, Liam Maxwell who's dream was made a reality last year when Dreams Come True paid for him and his family to go to Florida to swim with dolphins, was a VIP guest at the event.
Cash Converters' Business Development Manager and Charity Golf Day organiser Nathan Sermon says: "The charity golf day was an incredible success and the company could not have raised as much as it did without the support of its generous sponsors. The money raised will help fund dreams for seven children who have been nominated by their families.
"Cash Converters has been working closely with the charity, on both a local and national level, to ensure children across the UK have their dreams fulfilled; everything from meeting a favourite footballer, going to Disney World to a computer laptop. There are two national events taking place this year, a online charity auction and a charity ball, both of which will raise more money to create special experiences for the children."
