Cash Converters has appointed a new Head of Marketing to aid its continuing expansion. Richard Livesey, who has over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, has been recruited as Head of Marketing. The role will see Livesey take responsibility for the Cash Converters marketing strategy while working with the company’s Chief Executive David Patrick to develop the profile of the brand nationally.

Livesey said: “I wanted to get back into working at the sharp end of retailing and missed being part of a team. I’d worked with Cash Converters’ Chief Executive, David Patrick, when I was Head of Marketing and Communications at Allsports, so when I heard about this opportunity I was keen to hear from him first hand.

“After speaking with David it was clear to me that Cash Converters is a dynamic brand with huge potential for expansion in the future. I also visited some stores in my local area and was impressed by the passion for the business shown by the staff. It really is great for me to come into the business at such an exciting time in its growth.”

David Patrick added: “I am delighted that Richard has joined us. His credentials in the retail sector are impressive and he has a real flair for producing creative campaigns that deliver results.

“Cash Converters is continuing to drive forward its expansion plans and is on target to open 25 new stores by the end of this year. Richard’s experience and vision will help ensure that the brand’s profile goes from strength to strength.”
