The team, led by the Executive Head Chef of the Fat Duck Group, Ashley Palmer-Watts, reached the summit of the world’s highest freestanding mountain at 5.55am BST on August 28.
The team was made up of Mr Palmer-Watts, John Freeman of Michelin-starred restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham, Paul Foster of Newmarket’s highly regarded Tuddenham Mill and Paulo de Tarso, who is Senior Maître D’ at Knightsbridge’s Bar Boulud in London.
