'Jersey is a very small island with limited parking,' says Alan Hanton, ChipsAway Jersey franchisee. 'Cars are often competing for space or trying to squeeze into a tight spot. People take great pride in looking after their cars here, so when I heard about the ChipsAway franchise, I was amazed and delighted that someone hadn't already seized the chance to bring the SMART repair system to the island.'

With its head office based in the Midlands ChipsAway currently has around 500 franchisees across the continent and over 350 in the UK. The company introduced the SMART (Small and Medium Area Repair Technology) system to the UK in 1994.
