Global hotel chain Choice Hotels International, which owns a number of franchised hotel brands, has appointed Oliver Dupont to the newly created position of Vice President of European Development.


In his new role Dupont will be responsible for building and strengthening Choice Hotels Internationals’ business relationships and revenue opportunities with current and potential franchise owners, hotel developers, and investors throughout the continent of Europe. Dunpont reports to Senior Vice President of Global Development David Pepper.

Dupot has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry in a wide range of roles including in franchise services and franchise development. In his more recent position Dunpont served as Senior Vice President, International Development for Wyndham Worldwide, where he led international development in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Indian sub-continent.

David Pepper said: “Olivier will be an excellent addition to our franchise sales leadership team and the Choice organisation. He joins us with extensive franchise development experience, the ability to cultivate high-value long-term relationships with developers and owners, and a proven track record of successful brand growth. I am confident his addition will help spur the expansion of our European footprint.”
