The deadline for entries for the 2012 British Franchise Association (bfa)/HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards is fast approaching.
The closing date for entries is March 30 and applicants can enter into three categories: The bfa/HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award; The HSBC Franchisee Support Award; and The Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year Award.
The Awards, which is now in its 23rd year, presents an opportunity for winning brands to be recognised as leaders not only in the franchising community but also among customers, suppliers and potential franchise owners. An award also provides a motivational boost for franchise owners in appreciation of their hard work.
The judging will be in two parts. First the judging panel will choose national finalists, who will then be invited before the panel on May 15 and 16. The overall winners will be announced at a gala dinner on June 21.
Brian Smart, Director General of the bfa, said: “Each year the awards uncover the most remarkable success stories in franchising and the extraordinary people that drive these businesses, large and small, to greatness. The winners set high standards to inspire and motivate others across the UK to employ fresh and effective ways to achieve business success.”
Cathryn Hayes, Head of Franchising at HSBC, added: “Previous winners illustrate how implementing the right systems can carry the network, along with maximising potential for the brand and supporting franchise owners. If you are one of these businesses we want to hear from you.”
