This summer children in Edinburgh will be able to take part in a holiday programme hosted by ComputerXplorers.

The ICT education franchise will be offering fun and challenging activities ranging from TV news and weather reporting to Lego robotics.

The course will take place on the 6-8 August at St George’s School for Girls and is being run in association with Excel, an Edinburgh based children’s holiday sports and activity camp, to provide children with a balanced day of physical activity and computer learning.

Lynn Kerr, the franchise owner of ComputerXplorers South East Scotland, said: “We focus on making learning fun and interactive. The children are so absorbed and engaged by what they are doing that they hardly realise they are learning. It gives them the opportunity to use their imaginations and use the latest software and technology to turn their ideas into reality. They come away with greater confidence around computers, as well as improving their team working and problem solving skills.”
