Business confidence has hit a 22-year high. That is according to the latest Business in Britain report from Lloyds Bank and is the highest level recorded since the survey began in 1992.

The results of the survey are seen as a reflection of rising expectations for orders, sales and profits in the next six months, and are likely to further fuel hopes of continued economic growth in the second half of 2014.
