Bain Capitol sold its majority stake that it had in Domino’s Pizza Japan business. It has relinquished control of a fast-food chain that built its success selling pizzas topped with local favorites such as Japanese mushrooms, Kobe beef and shrimp mayonnaise.

The U.S. private-equity firm said on Tuesday that it had sold 75 per cent stake on Japen’s third-biggest pizza delivery chain to Australia-based Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd. For 12 billion yen ($123 million).
