Sharing the same dedication to customer service as Drain Doctor Plumbing is what attracted its latest franchise owner to the business. Marc Bevan, who has a business background in construction and engineering, and his partner Angela Titley have taken on the Drain Doctor franchise for East London.

Marc said: "As a businessman I was looking around for a franchise business that would allow me the freedom to express my ideas and vision but provide the support that comes with a successful national operation. It can be lonely out there on your own but with the support of the proven Drain Doctor system I aim to build the business quickly."

Starting with two technicians and two vans Marc and Angela aim to have a third van on the road by Christmas. The couple have plans to continue to expand their East London franchise further, taking on two technicians with vans per year over the next three years.

In addition to being attracted to Drain Doctor Plumbing emphasis on good customer service, Marc was also impressed with their pricing, he commented: "As a contractor I have used emergency plumbing companies in the past, which charge rip off prices once they have been called out. Drain Doctor offers a fixed price menu with no call out charges and prides itself on providing a dazzling level of service. It is that level of service and customer satisfaction that has proved successful in my previous businesses."

Marc and Angela will operate their franchise as a family business, which will see Marc working on marketing the business while Angela will work on both marketing and using her people skills on customer service and business administration.
