EWIF (Encouraging Women Into Franchising) is set to hold its first regional meeting in the North West on February 14.

The event, which will be held at Holmes Chapel Library, will be co-ordinated by three successful female franchisors – Linda Price, franchisor of Swimtime, and Tracy Townend and Jo Stone from Puddle Ducks.

The meeting will be an opportunity for female franchise owners and franchisors to meet and share their experiences, and there will also be a presentation by guest speaker Tony Urwin from Franchise Development Services North.

Linda Price, franchisor of Swimtime said: “These regional meetings are a great opportunity for like-minded businesswomen to get together from a wide variety of businesses.

“The meetings will be particularly helpful for those thinking about buying a franchise operation or anyone considering franchising their own business. It’s also a great chance for service suppliers, such as accountants and solicitors who are keen to work with franchise clients, to network.”

EWIF offers support and encouragement to women who are considering becoming franchise owners, women business owners, those looking to franchise their businesses and franchisors who have an under representation of women in their network.
