Ex-footballer and Football Manager Peter Jackson is set to launch his Caremark business. Mr Jackson has completed the initial franchise owner training course with Caremark Ltd and is set to start providing a home care service in the Calderdale area.
Mr Jackson will run his business alongside his wife Alison, who is Managing Director of Caremark Calderdale and who has been establishing their office premises in the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre, Halifax. Mrs Jackson has many years of experience being a franchise owner for a diet franchise as well as experience as a state registered nurse on an oncology ward and a geriatric ward.
Mrs Jackson said: "We aim to be the best provider of home care in Calderdale, and have just completed a very thorough and enjoyable training course with the Support Team which has prepared us for this. We will be beginning our recruitment drive in March, ready to receive our CQC registration and would welcome anyone already familiar with my franchise business to get back in touch."
Mr Jackson added: "I am under no illusion to the fact that it will be my very experienced wife, Alison, running the business. She is the boss at home and now my boss at work."
