As part of Expense Reduction Analysts investment in supporting its franchise owners, four members of its Business Development Team have qualified as Performance Coaches.

The company recruited Performance Coach Training (PCT) to train its staff as Performance Coaches. Graeme McKinnon, Commercial Director for Expense Reduction Analysts, said: "When I decided to invest in developing our Business Coaching skills, I looked for a training provider with an outstanding reputation. I researched the market thoroughly, as the training was a huge investment, not only in cost but also in our time. After discussing our needs with a number of training providers, one company stood out above all others."

Performance Coach Training is a joint venture with coaching pioneer Sir John Whitmore's Performance Consultants International. Co-founder and Managing Director, Carol Wilson, experienced the value of a coaching culture first hand while working at board level with Richard Branson at Virgin.

Graeme added: "My team and I have been absolutely blown away by the quality of the training. It was both challenging and exciting. The course is underpinned by criteria, standards and ethics, which reflect those of the UK's independent coaching body, the Association for Coaching, of which Sir John Whitmore is Honorary Vice President and Carol Wilson is Head of Accreditation.

"Our new-found skills and increased competence mean that we can now deliver a truly world class service to our Consulting Partners within Expense Reduction Analysts. Our philosophy and service is based on honesty, openness and trust. Our Business Coaches are already helping our partners to gain insights and awareness about their own businesses, their aspirations and their lives. In addition to raising the coachee's awareness, we are now fully equipped to ensure that the coachee takes responsibility for whatever it is that they want to achieve, with a solution-focused approach. We aim to empower our coachees, uncovering new perspectives and insights while helping them to consider the options available before committing themselves to action."
