Fast food giant Burger King has opened its first outlet in Russia. The company opened the location through its franchise owner, Burger Rus, which is aiming to open more Burger King outlets in Russia.

Kevin Higgins, President of Burger King, said: "Russia is an exciting, active market with a vibrant economy and the cosmopolitan city of Moscow will embrace the Burger King experience. It is part of our overall growth plan to increase our brand presence in existing European markets as well as in strategic new ones."
