Clothing retailer Gap is set to open three new franchised locations in Egypt by the end of this year.

These new locations will be managed by Fawaz Al Hokair Group, which also franchises Gap stores in Saudi Arabia, Jordon and Kazakhstan, and is planning to open the first store in Cairo’s Mall of Arabia this month. The other two stores are set to be located in Cairo’s Stars Mall and Sun City Mall and are due to open in the autumn.

In another franchise deal Gap Inc., which also owns the Banana Republic brand, has partnered with Aksal Group, which will see a Gap store and a Banana Republic store open in Morocco this year.
