Estate agency opportunity House-Hut’s first franchise in Bristol has enjoyed a brisk start to trading since its launch at the end of June.

House-Hut’s Managing Director Maria Mitchell said she has been delighted with the response which was above expectations and believes it is a sure sign the housing market was recovering – a fact confirmed by the high level of activity in the pilot branch in Bath.

Since House-Hut won the Gold Award for the South West at the prestigious Estate Agent of the Year Awards 2010 and the Grand Prix Silver Award for the whole of the UK, the company has been inundated with enquiries from people wishing to sell their houses including many from outside their current operating territories.

To meet this demand House-Hut has announced that for a limited period it is prepared to offer significant concessions on its initial franchise fees to the right applicants. Mitchell explained that in the difficult economic climate, especially with the reluctance of banks to lend to small businesses, her company did not want suitable candidates to be unable to pursue a House-Hut franchise due to a shortfall in funding.
