Since moving from Portugal just eight months ago Snack-in-the-Box franchise owners, Vitor Reis and his wife Karia, are already enjoying the benefits of their investment. "We're better off in every way since we stared our Snack-in-the-Box business. We're less stressed and we see each other more," said Vitor
With Karia only working two hours per day packing the boxes and Vitor finished by three the financial rewards are impressive: "We could happily carry on like this and take it easy but I'm quite ambitious. Seeing how profitable this business is we'll net between £25,000 and £30,000 this year," said Vitor.
Starting their box franchise just five months ago Vitor has been so impressed with its returns he is keen to invest in some Snack-in-the-Box vending machines to expand his Northamptonshire-based business.
Snack-in-the-Box, which has been operational since 1996, offers two franchise opportunities at investment level starting from £20,000. The honesty box franchise is designed for small to medium sized businesses of between two to 22 employees and the compact vending franchise for the larger 25-100 staff market place.
Franchise owners are provided with comprehensive help and support: "Snack-in-the-Box has got it absolutely right in terms of product, service and franchise support. They've been franchising for 15 years and have fine-tuned a business that clearly works," said Vitor.
All franchise owners receive a starter pack which includes corporate clothing, vehicle racking and livery, branded marketing material, PDA and software, head office and on-site training. Snack-in-the-Box will also supply new franchise owners with a client list and install products when needed. "The head office canvassing team sourced the first 150 sites for us, then we began to canvass for our own customers and the business has become more and more profitable," said Vitor.
