Over the next two months three National Franchise and Business Start-up Shows are due to take place in regions across the UK. The shows that will take place are: Sussex Franchise and Business Show at Brighton Racecourse on the 21st May 2009; Anglian Franchise abd Business Show at Newmarket Racecourse on the 11th June 2009; and Welsh Franchise and Business Show at Cardiff Millennium Stadium on 24th June 2009. The three shows will bring national brands face to face with potential partners in their own communities.

In addition to over 40 well known brands and businesses, key people from the world of franchising, including Roy Seaman of Franchise Development Services Ltd, will be on hand to give advice and guidance through a series of seminars designed so the visitor can get the most out of their day at the Franchise and Business Start-up Shows.

Blair Barrows, Director of Nelson Business Events, which organises the shows, said: 'It's about bringing the feel of a National Show to smaller regional locations. This allows potential new business owners and franchisees to understand what is available without having to travel to London, Birmingham or Glasgow. Most of the exhibitors have business opportunities in that region, so visitors know that they are not wasting their time looking at companies that cannot help them.'

Steve Sykes, Franchise Director of Dietcare, which was one of the first exhibitors to book, commented: 'We are very much looking forward to attending the Sussex Franchise and Business Show, particularly as, for some-time now, we have been receiving a number of enquiries from the southern counties and see our participation in the event as an opportunity to expand the Dietcare Clinic network into these areas.'

The shows open at Midday and run until 8pm. There is no admission charge if you pre-register at www.nelsonbusinessevents.co.uk, quoting reference 'PR1', otherwise entrance is £5. All visitors will receive a complimentary copy of 'Franchise Magazine', normally £3.95.
