Young entrepreneur Tim Morris, 25, set up the business while still at school and says each boat, in his fleet of four, can turn a profit of up to £15,000 per season.

Tim said: “Children are often left open-mouthed in sheer delight as the boat approaches. It’s never long before you see them racing off to ask their parents for an ice cream. You would be mistaken if you thought it was just for the kids. This unique and exciting experience often entices whole families.”

The franchise costs £20,000 and includes everything, from the boat to the ice cream stock, to kick off the business.
