A new Master Franchise Deal will see Great American Cookies open locations across Chile. Demaso S.A. has signed a Master Franchise agreement with Great American Cookies, a USA-based brand that is part of NexCen Brands Inc., which will see it open a minimum of 15 stores in Chile over a 10 year period.
CEO of NexCen Brands Inc Kenneth Hall said: "We are excited about our initial entry into the South American market with one of our (quick-serve) brands. The expansion of Great American Cookies into Chile continues our strategy to extend the global footprint of NexCen Brands. With Chile, our franchise brands have entered 20 new countries in the last two years."
President of NexCen Franchise Management Inc Chris Dull added: "We believe this Master Franchise agreement underscores our commitment to partnering with proven, quality operators. Demaso S.A. is part of a family business that has had a stellar reputation in Chile for more than 100 years, and we look forward to working with them to grow Great American Cookies in Chile."
