Online tyres retail franchise etyres has announced that 15 of its franchise owners have now invested in multiple vans to expand their businesses. "Around 25 to 30 per cent of our branches operate multi-van territories," said Managing Director Tony Bowman.

"We have seen a large increase in the number of franchise partners looking to take on extra vans based on our increase in sales over the past 12 months and have several territories approaching a £1 million annual turnover, such as our Luton franchise owners Alex Kapadia and Oliver Hall.

"Alex and Oliver have been with etyres for four years, their level of commitment to the business is exceptional, and with five vans on the road, they are reaping the financial rewards! They have smashed the company record for the number of vans and turnover and each month their sales figures and, more importantly, profit margins are showing a steep rise.

"etyres continues to trade profitably in a recession because we save people money on an essential product. There are an estimated 30 million cars on the road, all of which will require new tyres at some point, and as an online retailer, we can afford to be miles cheaper than the traditional high street tyre depots, because we have lower overheads."
