The shoemaker plans to open a store in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in the first phase of their expansion plan. Giuseppe Bonfiglo, CEO of Harrys of London said: The reason why we choose India is related to culture, people and context. We usually look for customers more than we look for markets, the decision is more connected to relation that it is to a rational, although the 1 per cent luxury consumer from 1.3 billion people is 13 million high net worth individuals.”
Harrys of London has already established several Indian customers who they serve from their UK and Middle East stores.
