In 2015 alone, Hooters has opened international restaurants in Japan, Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Thailand, Brazil, and South Africa. Domestically, Hooters franchising continues to grow from coast to coast to include the record-breaking, and now World’s Largest Hooters location, at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas as well as openings in Colorado, New York, and California. Rounding out the year, Hooters anticipates additional domestic openings in Shrewsbury, MA, Somerset, NJ, Mishawaka, IN, Duluth, GA, and Chula Vista, CA. On the International front, Hooters expects additional new restaurants to open by year’s end in Bangkok, Thailand, Mexico City, and Shanghai, China.

With over 100 commitments for future franchise development, Hooters has plans to open in multiple markets across Southeast Asia, Curacao and Nicaragua for the first time in 2016, and will continue to expand in Brazil, China, Japan, South Africa, Montreal, Russia, Colombia, and the United Sates. Furthermore, Hooters continues to ramp up its new corporate development and anticipates opening at least eight new corporate restaurants in 2016.

In addition to new restaurant growth, Hooters remodelling program continues on a blistering pace with an additional 30 corporate remodels in 2016, as well as at least 20 franchise remodels. By the end of 2016 Hooters will have over 25 per cent of its restaurants to the new prototype design launched in 2013.

As part of this accelerated growth, Hooters is actively seeking qualified franchise partners to join the team and open new locations in various markets across the U.S. and around the globe.
