The franchise owner of Kall Kwik Bury St Edmunds has been nominated for a 2012 British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC) award.
Stewart Green, who bought his Kall Kwik franchise nine years ago, has been nominated for the 2012 Business of the Year award.
Kall Kwik Bury St Edmunds has set itself apart from other printing businesses by developing the digital side of the operation, offering web design and e-shot campaign management alongside the creation of marketing-based print solutions.
The business was put forward for the BAPC award by Kall Kwik Managing Director Nigel Toplis, who has been very impressed by Green’s innovation and drive.
In the submission Toplis wrote: “The investments that Stewart has made, combined with the strength of his team has seen the business achieve year-on-year growth, bucking the trend over the challenging times over the past three years.”
Green said: “It’s been my dream to run my own business and with the help of a brilliant team of people we are going from strength to strength.
“I believe the reason we are so successful is because we listen to what clients want to achieve and then work with them to come up with the best way to maximise results. It’s not just about supplying competitively priced print – it’s more to do with making sure that clients get the best return for their money using the items we produce.
“Because we have such a strong design and digital team we can make campaign materials work harder for clients across all mediums not just print.
“Moving to bigger premises has worked out far better than we had imagined – our workload has increased and clients are really enjoying the benefits of having free parking just outside.”
