US-based doughnut and coffee shop franchise Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation has signed its first regional franchise deal for India.

Krispy Kreme has signed the franchise agreement with Bedrock Food Company Pvt. Ltd. The agreement will see 35 new stores open throughout the northern region of India, including the cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow, over the next five years.
