Local business directory franchise Look Local has completed a radio advertising campaign across the Midlands through Talk Sport Radio. The company placed a total of 130 adverts during October which aimed to raise the brand awareness and profile of Look Local to the benefit of its Midlands-based franchise owners from Manchester through to Gloucester.
"From the response head office has received from people interested in joining the business, and comments from existing advertisers, this objective has certainly been achieved," said Look Local Director Clive Wheeldon. "Our franchise owners are now stating on their correspondence 'as advertised on radio' , which enables us to further hammer home to customers the higher profile of the Look Local magazine."
Look Local franchise owners offer local businesses and tradesmen a budget advertising option with large distribution through free local business directories. The franchise package includes full training and support, initial marketing materials and templates, a fully integrated sales database system, automatic invoicing and bookkeeping, and a personalised Look Local website.
The company also promotes its franchise owners through trade magazines on a monthly basis and is constantly researching new avenues of cost effective promotion for the brand. The head office is also continuing discussions to review the advertising campaigns for next year.
